The PCB’s Cricket Committee has extended SAEED AJMAL remedial work under former spinner SAQLAIN MUSHTAQ  by 15 days. Saqlain had signed a one-month contract with the PCB, ending on October 24, to help Ajmal work on his action. Ajmal will then head to England for an independent biomechanical assessment, and based on the results he can apply to the ICC for an official reassessment.

“Ajmal has been tested on the 2D equipment at the NCA, where he has [shown] significant improvement,” PCB Cricket Committee chairman Shakil Sheikh said. “After the remedial work is complete, he shall be tested in a state of the art lab with 3D facility.”
